My brother Robert is ridiculously good at juggling and spinning fire.  He scares me, but I trust him.  It's mesmerizing to watch the flames spinning around his lanky body.

My boyfriend sent me beautiful flowers today.  I think that the flowers brought some good luck to my job search!  :)  

My friend Shelley finally came home from Australia for a visit.  She moved there a while ago.....and I just miss her so much!  After a long day at the beach we went back to my house for appetizers before dinner because we are sooooooooooo fancy.  3 buck chuck wine from Trader Joes is the best.  :)

    My wide angle macro lens cover finally came in the mail yesterday....just for fun.  Jack, Robert and I went on the roof of the house to test out what kind of pictures it would take.  I was freaking out while they were monkeying around.....typical.  

Happy Father's Day and congratulations to the Little League Champions of 2011!!!!  It was the best father's day present my dad could ask for.....It was his last day as a coach after coaching a team for 18 years consecutively!  My youngest brother Jack and his team (13 & 14 year olds) not only won the game but slaughtered them 22 to 9!!!  It was a fantastic and exciting game and each player played outstanding!  

Taking pictures of the birds in my backyard is becoming waaaaaay too addicting.....there are so many out there and it is so challenging to take a good photograph of them!  I think this is why I am finding it so entertaining.

Last night we had a party at my parents house for my brother Jack's 8th grade graduation.  He is our boy scout who of course had complete control over the fire pit last night.  Jack is the coolest kid I know.  

They have come a long way.  Bunny and Gemmy cat.  This photo was actually taken by my mom while I was trying to get them to stay put.  I can't express how happy I am that they are friends instead of enemies.....I thought this day would never happen!

It is strange how obsessed I am with lighting.  I walk around my backyard waiting for the light to hit a certain flower exactly the way I want it to before I photograph it.  Watching the light reflect and change the earth throughout the day is magical to me.........I have been watching this particular flower for a couple of days now and I finally captured the light I had been waiting patiently for.  

This is Jessie Bear on the way home from getting her hair cut.  Jessie is possibly the sweetest, most gentle, kind hearted dog I have ever met.  She truly melts the hearts of everyone.  :)

Tina's sister Stacy is the marketing manager at Northbrook Court mall.  Tina called me thursday morning and asked if i wanted to "paint birds".  Little did I know we were going to restore all the bugs and animals that decorate the gigantic indoor tree that is in the center of the mall!  They needed some work....but in no time they were good as new (almost haha)!
