My brave friend Mayumi and her brother (via Skype) shaved their heads last saturday to support their cousin going through chemotherapy. Their 25 year old cousin was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer weeks ago and immediately started treatment in San Francisco. Because of the distance, Mayumi asked me to document the event so she could send the photos to her cousin! Her husband, Steve, helped with the hair cut and friends, Jeni and Joyce helped cheer her on! It was such an inspiring and heartwarming experience. Mayumi, you are a brave, beautiful girl! Thoughts and prayers go out to your cousin and family!
